~~~“For His Glory 2009” is a spectacular stage presentation fusing music with various types of dance and theatrical movement from a spiritual gospel perspective. A cast of over 20 singers, musicians and dancers are integrated in this wonderfully produced multimedia experience.
"“For His Glory 2009” exquisitely brings to life the soul-stirring sounds of gospel music and innovative dance performances,” states writer, producer and director Mr. Marcus Coleman.
Coleman, musical genius whom has toured with MONICA, MARY J., BRIAN MCKNIGHT, HOWARD HEWITT, to name a few; as well as an award winning television writer with world acclaimed accolades for projects such as “ALL OF US”, “GIRLFRIENDS”, “SOULFOOD”, “PARKERS”, “ONE ON ONE”, “PROUD FAMILY”, “STEVE HARVEY BIG TIME” and more, has created this “Cirque Du Soleil” type musical stage production to inspire people of all ages to dream again. Through his career as a recording artist, television music composer, producer, teacher, entrepreneur and philanthropist, Marcus has always been a driving force in promoting excellence and unity within our Creative Arts communities. And now, he has created "For His Glory", an initiative to deliver a long-lasting platform to our extraordinary professional artist pool and our local creative arts students and amateurs.
”For His Glory” explodes on stage October 10 at the Haugh Performing Arts Center located at 1000 W. Foothill Blvd., in the City of Glendora, Ca. 91741 at 7pm. PRESALE tickets are $25 for general adults and $15 for seniors and children 0-12 years old. VIP tickets are $50 and include a VIP pre-network red carpet entrance from 5pm-7pm. Advertisement and sponsorship opportunities are available.
Proceeds from “For His Glory” will assist in the funding of The Inland Conservatory For The Performing Arts School where individuals from all ages can learn all aspects of theatre, music and dance.
